Preparing the room brought a certain sort of excitement to the house, one she hadn't felt in a long time, not since her first life and many years. Preparing for a new addition to the family, it brought so many nostalgic memories, even if the way they prepared differed so much then. Grainne hardly knew where to start with so many modern things to look at and try. In this she was lost as much as anyone, and sometimes thought it would be better to just resort to her old ways.
It's a good thing she had Dia and Set to keep things from overwhelming her.
"Set, I brought you some paint. I hope you like the color." It was a bright sunny yellow, some of the dried color sitting on the top of the paint can for an example. She thought it was nice, a good color for a baby (though why girl and boy babies even had to have separate colors at all was beyond her) and sure to brighten a young life. "I didn't like any of the green colors they offered..."
